Telecom Xmas

Telecom chose eight Westfield centres, 227, Albany, Chartwell, Queensgate, Riccarton, Shore City, St Lukes and West City, to promote using Telecom XT using several media options including, floor decals, escalator handrails and the side of escalators.

Client & Objective

This Telecom media campaign was booked by agency Starcom to promote Telecom’s special mobile offering over the Christmas period.

The Campaign

Gaining cut-through in the competitive mobile phone market over the important Christmas season is key.

Starcom gained mall dominance for their client during this critical sales period, by booking a heavyweight, eight week campaign in Westfield centres nationwide.

Making use of large format floor decals in conjunction with advertising on escalators gave maximum impact and Telecom’s striking Christmas campaign took full advantage of this dwell-time media format.
